The Indian Air Force has announced online applications for the selection test for Agniveervayu intake 01/2024 under the Agnipath Scheme. Agniveer Air Force Education Qualification
Candidates must have earned a minimum of 50% in both the aggregate and English sections of the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination given by an Education Board that is a member of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CBSE).
OR
Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognised Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
OR
A minimum of 50% in English and a minimum of 50% in the other subjects taken together in the two-year vocational program (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the vocational program) from a state education board/council that is listed in COBSE.
Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in any subject recognised by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member.
OR
Completed a two-year vocational program from an education board member of the Council on Boards of Secondary Education (COBSE), with a minimum of 50% in both English and the overall program.
Age Limit
Additionally, candidates cannot be less than 17.5 and cannot be older than 21. The aspirants must not have been born before June 27, 2023, and not after December 27, 2006. Applicants should read the official announcement for more details on qualifications and requirements.
IAF Agniveer Selection Process

Written Test
All prospective employees must first take and pass a written test.
Physical Fitness Test(PFT)
After that, the chosen applicants will be contacted to schedule a PFT, the specifics of which may be seen in the announcement.
Adaptability Test-I
Only the chosen few will be invited to take this examination. This exam will be of the objective variety.
Adaptability Test-II
The second iteration of the Adaptability Test will be quite similar to the first.
